That's what I tell myself, too.
Yeah! My "limit" is in direct proportion to how much I want the bass! :D

In all seriousness, though, I'm not buying a new Ray. I still want to be able to place my B4 order by the end of November with my year-end bonus.

Spending money on basses is fun! Weeeeeee!:D

...I'm bidding on Stingrays! :D

Shamus, my friend, have you decided sort of an amp head what your gonna play all these beauties through?

BTW, all this GAS better not be addictive, or I'm gonna be "livin' in a van...down by the river."

I keep coming back to Ampeg SVT-PRO's, although which one I don't know yet.

I've put the SWR back on CL SF to try and get a 2x15 in trade, since that's the sound I want...getting the Henry 8 was just a fluke purchase that I made out on.

All this trading/selling/buying keeps things interesting!

I need to try the selling part, I've got way too much money tied up in things I don't like anymore. That's what happens when you fall in love of EBMM basses. :D
The funny thing is...selling's the part I like the least. Trading has always been my favorite deal.

You know what's interesting? I've been outbid on a Teal Green Stingray by an eBay'er with the username "TNTROCKMUSIC"...

...hmmm...

Ya, I didn't know if I was going to win it or not, it went down to the wire!

The Teal Green Stingray looks pretty cool, it matches my wife's top that I just bought her. It looks better on her than me, so I think I'll let her have that one.

I'll keep the black BONGO for myself when Shamus63 sells that one. ;)

I have a heart and have tried to give away my non EB basses. Seems not a person wants them.

I just back row the stuff as I have a hard time selling inferior products.

The money lost thing is just a thang. Ain't nothing but a thang.

Cool. I'm real happy with the 4 PRO so far. Haven't gigged with it yet, but we have a real big one next month, outdoors, so that will be the acid test! The last practice we had, my drummer and I were jamming between songs, and he stops and looks at me and sez: "Man! I can't believe the sound you are getting out of that thing" That made my evening!

I'm really intrigued by the new 6 PRO, 'cept the re-tubing costs scare me a little. I don't make enough $ playing anymore to justify the yearly expense.

Besides, I'm REAL happy with my 1200 watts! (well, 960 right now) :D

I'm in a trading mood myself, but it's on the guit@r side of the room right now...

Wherever you land, good luck and happy jammin'!

That's another thing I have to factor in...the wattage. The Henry is rated at 480w/4ohms, and even if let that one go in trade/sale, I'll probably only get another 500-600w cab. That's more than enough for most of the venues around here...any gig bigger than that can get piggybacked on the p.a.

Trust me Shamus, the GK RB series heads and the Henry are a match made in heaven. Why not take advantage of GC's 30 day policy and try out a 700RBII with the Henry? Check this out 700RBII

You might be right about the GK/Henry match, but GC/MF will never get my business...too many blown opp's on their part!

Hell, they could have had my Bongo purchase if they had their sh!t together...

Thanks! Just saved them as a favorite; for when I actually make my purchase.

I've decided to hang onto the Henry 8; going to gig it today and tomorrow with a loaner Peavey Session bass head.

Henry 8 and a Bongo...gonna get messy!
