Flash really brings out the sparkle on all of the sparkly/metalflake finishes, dunnit?

That black cherry sparkle (if that's what it's called) rules, bovinehost!

This is the one I miss:

My Stratus Blue Sparkle. I had to sell her TWICE because of monetary emergencies... the first time I was able to keep track of her and buy her back... the last time she disappeared.

I wonder where she is now?

If you knuckleheads REALLY miss those finishes ......

I know of just the place to find many of them. This store is one of my favorite stores in the world, and they have so MANY Music Man guitars and basses in stock, we just love these guys! Among the pieces they have in stock are brand new instruments (guess you could say New Old Stock) with the old finishes on them. Click on the link at the bottom and it's almost like walking through time to see so many of the discontinued cool colors in stock and in great condition:

ROYAL MUSIC CENTER
1966 ROCKAWAY PARKWAY
BROOKLYN , NY 11236-0000
718-241-3330
718-241-3516 (fax)
[email protected]
Royal Music | Guitar Bass Keyboards Drums Superstore! | 516-377-8000

Remember, the warranty on the instruments begin with the sale to the end user, so the warranty is valid with all of their new guitars.

Click here to see what they have in stock:

Have fun looking,

Wow, what a selection!! I live an hour and a half away and ordered my bass through GC and never knew they existed! (Although they don't have what I ordered...)

I will check them out before I buy my next bass for sure. Thanks for the heads up! :D

Mark,

Yeah, I saw that .... A lot of the stuff on their site is tongue-in-cheek, so it's hard to know if they are serious here :p ... You know, I kinda doubt that WE could figure out the last SUB we ever made! As you may have gathered from some of my other posts that while we keep good records of build dates and such, stuff is kind of randomly numbered so their is no serial number "formula" - we are too busy building basses and guitars! They have one of the last ones shipped, and therefore one of the last ones built, but the last one ever made may be a stretch unless they have some way of knowing for sure that I don't!

I don't think so as Bass Central and Musician's Friend both have a few left.

I got a candy apple burst sparkle and a nice natural gloss (with nice grain).

I also have a '97 black/rw/black 'Ray and I've decided they're all keepers.

I'm diggin that site, Dan - thanks.

I need about a million bucks (rather than the zero I have got!), and I think I'd start with a Bongo, then I'd have to get me a trans gold and a vintage sunburst pair of 'Rays.
If I win the lotto, Musicman Nut had better watch out! :D

Sweet.
