We also have to remember all the discontinued models will be available on the used market or NOS dealer items for a while.

So this is the way it's gonna be, there is no list of remaining models and no list of models where all colors (aka the model itself) is being deleted versus those models that survive in some colors?

On a related note... Has anyone ever seen (can you post a photo) an Axis (Floyd) in White Pearl? What about Sky Blue or Tangerine Pearl?

Here's a post from a while back showing an Axis in Tangerine Pearl - http://forums.ernieball.com/music-man-guitars/52987-tangerine-pearl-looks-great-axis.html

I know you didn't ask for this one but this Morse looks pretty rad in Tangerine Pearl... Music Man USA Steve Morse FR TP - Tangerine Pearl MH at ProMusicTools.com

DrKev and Stratty316: Thanks! Very helpful!

Stratty316: if I am not mistaken, the Armada in Balboa Blue Flame will also remain in addition to Black (Balboa Blue Quilt is being discontinued, but Flame is not on the discontinued list).

So is the Axis Super Sport Semi Hollow remaining the same? Colors/Piezo option etc.

Do not need one as I have a kick ass BCB with piezo but just curious.

Such a pity about the Reflex guitar - it's my work-horse live and in the studio - and for me, has always been the quiet member of the Music-Man line-up. I think that's because the focus on Gamechanger came relatively soon after the Reflex's release, so it never really got a "push" (no endorsements, etc.) as its own model.

I've never felt I needed 2 models of any guitar, but if I did, it would be my Reflex. I wasn't particularly interested in Gamechanger - though the tech impressed - mainly because of the "none more black" mono-option.

Ah well, all the more reason to cherish my Reflex and look forward to when it's resurrected as my limited run artist model :)

Here's to what comes next!

In essence the Reflex didn't die, it's still available as the gamechanger. It really should do all the same things as the regular reflex and then some. I do agree that the color options on the Reflex/GC have prob turned some people off of the model.

They are rare. Wild West Guitars has a Tangerine Pearl right now though.

Being a left-handed EBMM owner, I just had to chime in with how excited I am to see Ernie Ball retooling their production lines to start producing lefty JPX's! Right guys? Right?!

So technically all 3 of my EBMM's have been discontinued.
Sterling 5 HS In trans orange
Silo Spec Piezo SSS trem in vintage sunburst.
Silo w/ Floyd SSS in pacific blue burst.
Thankfully, my next one on the list is a Black Stingray 4 HH. Really wanted a tangerine pearl Silo Spec tho :( Hopefully new finishes have something interesting along the purple, or seafoam green lines.

this wasnt hard it was way overdue...and guess what? nobody ordered them.

I check in with EBMM Facebook Page on a daily basis, I gave my email address to AJ for newsletter subscription and STILL, I only became aware of this news until late November...
I would have GLADLY ordered a lefty JP7 BFR if I only knew they were going to get discontinued.

Every once in awhile you have to reinvent yourselves

My only hope now, is that at least once in a while you would enable lefties to get a chance to order BFR JPs again, maybe through a PDN limited run of some sort.

I DO own two Reflex's and they're both my workhorse go-to guitars, so yeah, I feel the same way!
