Favorite neck finish

I suspect this may make me the odd man out, but my favorite EBMM neck finish is the "Ultra-light satin polyurethane finish" sprayed over the select maple necks from the first year (or two) of the Cutlass and StingRay line and the occasional Stealth Black models.

I have oil and wax finishes on flamed maple and have had full rosewood necks, but, for me, there seems to be the least amount of friction on the ultra-light satin polyurethane finish.

For my Bongo basses - I liked the satin finish. But the newer basses don't seem to have it anymore. I wish I knew why.
