I'm actually curious and have finally decided to put it down in words on the site here:

What kind of launch should would we be expecting when it comes to the left handed JP6? Is it going to be a subtle integration where one day the website simply lists them as being left handed? Will there be a small ad campaign citing "the best left handed guitar in the world..." and so on?

I've been pondering this and think it's a good point for discussion.

I hope it's a clip of John Petrucci playing one (at only 400bpm since lefty isn't his forte) and announcing that the worlds greatest humbucking guitar is available to poor left handed slobs everywhere. But in reality, a post from BP or customer serving saying "Left handed JP ordering now available" would bring a tear to my eye!

WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, shame on me for never coming to the forum more often, I honestly thought this was another lefty rant. Then when I realized it was legit I shat my pants. I am already thinking of what guitars are going to go, probably my new ASS, which is btw is a KILLER guitar, I was actually a content lefty with that axe, but now, oh man, just looking at all the color choices is overwhelming. I <3 Big Poppa. When can we order?

No piezo is available on left handed models. I am totally okay with that, because I am just after the comfort of the body and incredible response from the pickups and trem system.

You can order the JP6, JP7 and BFR JP6; when the official "you can order this now" statement is made.

I sold my Ibanez and Music Man ASS Rosewood the moment I knew that these guitars were going to be made. I've all ready slated myself to buy a white JP6 and a Pearl Redburst JP6. I'm sort of debating the Redburst because there are so many amazing colors. What I'd really like to see is a sunburst JP6. That'd be killer.

Every left handed person should check this forum at least once a day (I check multiple times) for updates and that official release so that when it all goes down we overwhelm the company with orders... just so that Sterling doesn't feel like he made a bad choice.

By the by, I think a joke ad where someone hands Petrucci a lefty JP6 would be hilarious.

Yeh, can't believe this news has been out for over a month and I had no idea, it's cause I have been playing my new ASS none stop for the past 2 months, but with this news I am more than happy to sell it.

I think I'd like to be the first of the forumites to get one of the JP6's. I can imagine they'll build a few for the company to hold onto (to probably look back on and say "that ****ing Tim guy cost us a fortune!" or something) and they might send one to JP in a kind of "neener neener you can't play this one" type of deal?

I think after that, I shall like to be the first. I'd also like a yellow sticky note firmly attached to the guitar saying "hope you're happy, you bastard!" because that would make me laugh for days.

I'd have to order a Usic An guitar from now on, and that just looks ridiculous. This entire sentence hasn't used one of those letter though, so I think I could get by without that letter. Everyone else would be screwed. Thank my decadent vocabulary ways!

hmmm, I see an M in "from"...fail. but geez this thread is killing me, now all im doing is looking at JP's and trying to find a color, this is going to be the longest wait for a guitar ever, I wanted a JP before I even picked up a guitar just cause I worshiped the guy. Medallion Gold or Mystic Dream, hmm well I could get a 7 string too.

Ahh, you got me. I put one M in there to see if anyone was actually reading the crap that I was writing. You've given me reason to continue writing the dreck I do!

You should definitely get two JPs. Get a 6 and 7! I have no need for a 7, so I'm getting two 6's. White and Pearl Redburst! Can't wait!

I think the letter M is long overdue. I'm sure it's become quite full of it's self by now. Don't even get me started on the letter C.

You know, I always hated those Line 6 amps. There was something awfully bad sounding about them. I sure do like the sound of the little POD though... when it's late at night, and I want to play guitar, it would come in handy. I like the Adrenalinn as well though. Seemed to be a little more user friendly to me.

Good on you though!

I've been told my Silhouette Special should be here sometime in the next month. I have no idea anymore, since I was told last month it'd be here last month. I can't wait for it... but apparently I can!

Lol

I tried the spider valve and was not impressed. A couple of months ago I had no idea what a modeler was. I thought playing guitar was the only thing I should be worrying about (was I wrong).

I finally got the approval by my fiancee to get the Atomic reactor .
