The controversy

Umm... I think this will be the best chain of events:

We, the JP6LH coalition have been harassing anyone that would lend an ear, about our plight as suffering wrong handers.

Sterling and crew took notice of just how many people there were complaining about not having a left handed Petrucci model all for their own.

An unfortunate pair of imbeciles came onto the forums bashing the company and its fine regime.

I didn't take to kindly to it and rose to the level of defender for their honor.

Following my fiery damnation upon these two, Sterling wrote something to the effect of "that was priceless... for that I'm going to make left handed JPs. Give us time.".

I imagine they were waiting for the perfect moment to announce it all, and this just kind of worked itself out. I felt like a superhero, the announcement was made, and the two imbeciles were exiled for good.

Now we are on page eleven or twelve of the celebration thread. The JP6LH coalition have done their best to keep this thread on page one so that all those who visit the site can share in the joy that we all have.

The moral of the story is twofold: If you do bitch enough, things will come of it. - OR - No JP6 fan will be LEFT behind.

Jimmy,
I tuned in late to the drama. Can you link the thread, if it still exists, of the bashers and your (and Sterling's) response? Need some entertainment on a rainy morning in CT...
Thanks,
Down

I was checking the site every day to see how long it would take you to bump this thread up. I'm surprised it took this long.

Apologies are like ***holes. We all have 'em and all know each others stinks. Get back to work, you lazy bum. Hahahahaha.

If I have anything to do with it, this WILL be the longest thread on this forum. I'll get a bill for the lefty JP6s and a seperate bill for the bandwidth. Great!

I all ready am. I have the JP6LH fund and the EBWSBW fund. Both are going horribly because I can't save money worth a damn. Luckily I work at a guitar store and can work with deficit spending there. As soon as they're released, I'll buy two and start paying them off. Saving money is for little kids and old people. I am too decadent and rambunctious to save money!

I scoff at the idea!!!

Holy crap. I was going to bump this thread tomorrow morning, but apparently I don't have to. This officially marks that a right hander bumped the thread for us. I am awe-stricken by how awesome this is.

Thanks for showing a little left handed love, people!

I'm actually curious and have finally decided to put it down in words on the site here:

What kind of launch should would we be expecting when it comes to the left handed JP6? Is it going to be a subtle integration where one day the website simply lists them as being left handed? Will there be a small ad campaign citing "the best left handed guitar in the world..." and so on?

I've been pondering this and think it's a good point for discussion.
