Candy Red with a Black PG would also look nice...

True. Very classy.

I've got a black PG for that CR Bongo, but the minute I saw photos from our first gig I swapped it for the cream pearl one to make the bass "pop" visually.

Dark-colored instruments disappear on stage, and EBMMs are too good-looking to hide (unless you're into the whole "none more black" stealth thing, that is).

So for me it's always going to be contrasting pickguards and finishes.

Actually, I'm not a fan of maple boards (they show dirt so easily) but you didn't give us a chance to vote for rosewood.....

That's because I had already discounted rosewood, I am a maple man. I only get rosewood when I have no choice as it happened for the Bongo and the 25th which was a one off offer I couldn't refuse. But now that I have a choice same as I did when all those years ago (10+) i orderd my stingray5 I will go for maple and be happy with it.

Oh and.... :D I would have also killed for a seafoam green but if that would mean sleeping with the Boss, hahaha, he can "fugget about it! I'd much rather have one in "banana yellow with purple polka dots" instead! HAHAHAHAHA :D

Blue Pearl is really nice and looks so different under various lighting conditions. Although I love Candy Apple Red, but I don't find that it suits the Big Al (looks great on a Bongo though).

This is what a 4 strings in Pearl Blue with maple and white p/g looks like, just add a string and hubba hubba hubba! Yum

I'm actually quite glad that I am getting my Big Al 5 single H in Candy Red.

Candy Red really suits the Big Al.

Most of the time, Blue Pearl looks darker than that though. Under bright lighting (or flash) it looks bluer, but it can sometimes look almost black. And it has some light sparkle to it when you look at it up close.
