Back from my travels I've just reconfirmed how much I like the sound of my newly acquired SWR Goliath Senior with the Bongo, but my back hurts. I'm gassing for some lighter cabs that give the same sound without the back pain but I don't know what to check out. Help!!

no suggestion here either :p

most 410 cabs are 80-100lbs i think

avatar is 80-85
goliath 3 probably 90-95?
but its about there

unless you use neodium speakers, you may lost couple pounds with it :p

My G.A.S. list would include a couple of Schroeder Cabs, maybe 2 1210s, with a QSC amp and a good pre amp. I heard the Schroeder cabs at the TB DFW get together and they sound better than anything I've ever heard. They are also lightweight and compact.

Schroeder Cabs ..
really cool design
but i think their prices is kinda high?

if you were up to that budget
probably might as well check out some aggies or accugroove?

If you ever hear any Schroeder cabs, you will be a convert. They have got to have the most incredible sound I have ever heard. Maybe we'll have a good hail storm next spring  and I will be able to buy them, but for now business is way too slow.

San Francisco guitar center has one ... with a maple board. i saw it about a week ago. I think it was $800. I have no idea if you can get your local GC to call the SF one and have it sent there or not.

My Blue Dawn Sterling is staying home. :)

Thanks for info.
What is a local GC?
I live in the sticks of East Texas.
Just kidding about the GC.However, there are none in my area, but I'll check it out.

GAS that's going to be 'cured' within less than a month: new amp
Thinking about Ampeg SVT-CL or SVT-2PRO (not quite sure yet, because than I have absolutely NO money left) with 410-HLF
or an EBS Fafner with 12' cabs

I'm dying for a Bongo or Stingray 5, but don't have the money, need a new amp first, so that 'll be for later
