Thanks bovine. CodeMonkey winds his own pups and wires his own pedals. I was more or less trying to guide BigBallz' own thinking, because no one likes to be talked at, and things make more sense when you figure them out on your own. As we can see, he worked it all out.

CodeMonkey wants a Stealth Bongo SOOOOO bad.

I don't even want to think about it right now. I can't decide if I want....well, that's another thread entirely.

CodeMonkey, perhaps it's time to sell all those Fantastic Four comics and use the proceeds towards the Stealth.

Alas, bovine, the monkey has always been a DC fan over Marvel. I'm thinking, I've got a few pints of blood in me. I'm not using it all. I could part with some. Then again there's always prostitution. Sure no self respecting woman would have me, but there is a large gay community out here.

Is it weird for me to own a Bassman 100, an SVT-4 and a B2R and not a single bass in the house? I tell myself I could part with one, but really, I don't think I can. I don't need all the Telecasters I own, but then again, the only one I'm willing to sell is the one on loan from my Bassist. I can't part with the Bassitar, that was my finest creation. I'm screwed here.

Yep, prostitution it is. These are the lengths I'll go to, cause the Stealth is that sweet.

It's not the length you have to worry about so much as the width.

Perhaps I've said too much.

I think I have a few pints in me, too, but I'm not willing to test the theory.

No, that sounds right.

Bassitar? Dude, I think photo representation is REQUIRED.

I did some web work for Jim Shooter when he started (the short-lived) Broadway Comics. I've got 1st editions (and perhaps every issue now that I think of it) of all their comic books.. Fatale, Powers That Be, Knights on Broadway, Shadow State, The Good Guys, Star Seed.. those are the only ones I can recall at the moment. I also have ashcans and a Fatale dry-erase whiteboard.

It's too bad their parent company (Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video) sold them off to Golden Books, who only wanted to own the characters for licensing purposes.

Edit: actually, now that I think of it.. I did some work for him when he had Defiant comics as well.

Oh well yeah, I should have figured. I took a page out of some other guitarists book and put a bass pickup and a second output jack into my Fender Cyclone. I play it through my SS140-C and my Bassman 100.

Lemme see if I still have a photo somewhere.

I'd go for a poster style calendar I can hang on the office wall ... I guess I'd prefer real EBMMs rather than imaginary ones, but since I've just done the Sil-Ray with pickguard ... here's a low res version for fun, hot out of Photoshop.

Poster, HMMMMMMMMM,
I didn't even think of that. I was think more along the lines of 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17 in adobe that could easily be emailed printed at home. Or even taken to a print shop and have it printed on Glossy card stock and / or have it spiral bound.
From all these advantages I think a poster would look pretty but logistically would be much more difficult to share.

Still though, Poster, HMMMMMMMMM

It can still be done in a .pdf format!
Then if you didn't have the printing capabilities, you could take the file to Kinkos or Staples or whatever else you have nearby!

I actually have a 36 inch large format plotter. I would have to do a test cause I don't think it would print the resolution properly. We'll see.
I also have a client right now that owns a printing business. I will be seeing him on Saturday. I'll try and remember to discuss this.
