This means the Tumescent Luke is an example of the new 'PDNs'. Pity. Price point on these guitars is much higher than the PDNs like the honey burst, sparkles etc. But let's see what happens.

PDN is basically being phased out and BFR will be fulfilling the role of PDN. We should have all the assets we need for announcements by August, I will try to get something to show you guys once the weekend is over.

So, three weeks later we are still waiting for any sneak-peek and I guess the next info which we'll get regarding the topic will be the official announcement.

Anyway I'm really excited about it, I cannot forgive myself that I missed Starry Night series and really hoping for something sparky which will cover most models (especially Axis SS).

What are your feelings about it Guys?

Would love to see roasted neck and colour I can't resist, over most models. Doesn't have to be sparkly.

What can I say? It'll be ready when it's ready. Let's not pretend that timeliness is EBMM's strong suit.

There's an Axis Super Sport BFR that's been listed on the americanmusical and zzounds sites for a couple weeks now (due to arrive in August). Perhaps this is one of the new BFRs that's been mentioned.

African Mahogany with a quilt maple top in trans black, natural back
Wenge neck bound in white to match the body with an ebony board, stainless steel frets, and a satin finish
Chrome pickup covers

This is one of the NAMM specials -- several special models that could only be ordered at NAMM. See NAMM Pictures 2017 - from "The Room".

Exactly! dubaldo have Koa and Buckeye Burl Axis on their shop site which were in "the room" as well, they are simply gorgeous, but I guess in the EU they would cost a million EUR. So I'm still hoping EBMM will offer us something really interesting, but in more decent price.

I imagined myself a (gold) sparkle Axis with all rosewood neck but due to new CITES regulations regarding rosewood I think it won't happen. We probably won't see Rosewood run in the future at all. :( What they should use instead? Wenge, Pau Ferro, Mahogany? Any ideas?

Sure! No issue! Time is not a thing that should matter most if you want to do the things right and as they supposed to be. :)
