I really like everything that the site offers. It would be cool for the forum members to be able to add their EBMM videos to the YOUTUBE section.
Another big thanks to Poppa for sharing!!!

I like the understated black-on-white design a lot, it focuses your attention on the pictures of the beautiful instruments, which I guess is what you are going for. I know you said no critiques, but I really like that part of the site, so I wanted to post this bit.

I don't know if anyone caught this already, but I noticed that the buttons to advance the slideshow in the History section don't seem to work.

For a slightly different take on this, part of my day job is assessing the accessibility of websites from the perspective of using alternate client software to view them, for example, screenreaders for the visually impaired. I think someone else posted something about the extensive use of Flash, and that could cause some problems for this sort of browser.

I like it a lot, overall -- some minor bugs, but that's what beta testing is for. :)

The "Controls" list for the Petrucci needs a space between '500k' and 'ohm' (a carryover from the existing site). Same with the Y2D and its "250kohm" pots.. and the Luke's "25kohm.

I would disagree with this comment, I think 250kohm is acceptable. You wouldn't put a space between the k and gram or meter (i.e. 250kg or 250km). In the electronics industry we do not put in a space there.

However, sometimes the space would be between the number and the unit (ex: 250 kohm, 250 kg).

Ahh, interesting and good point. But to some of us outside the electronics industry, I humbly submit that it looks like a typo! :)

After all, they abbreviate in those other units of measurement. You don't see "kmeter" often.. :)

I remember learning all that metric razzamatazz in elementary school. Teachers said we would change over, but noooooooo.... we never did. I WAS RIGHT!!!! (for the only time.)

The abbreviation for ohm is the greek letter omicron (the one that looks like a horseshoe).

The "o" with a horizontal dash is theta. Lower case omicron just looks like "o." Upper case omicron is like "O." The o with vertical dash is phi. Lower case omega looks like a script "w." Upper case omega is the horseshoe.
