You left out the cost of Steve's bail money...

Bail money is for amateurs...professionals just pick a bottom bunk, get some sleep and wait for arraignment and get OR'd.

Hey BP - Whatever is earned by any EB employee from the bottom to the top is thoroughly deserved. Plus, it's also nobody else's business to know what anyone else earns IMHO. We love the product, we love the folks at SLO - end of story.

There's a reason why I never go to TB anymore!

Don't blame all of TB for one kid- keep in mind that after he posted, over a dozen TBers jumped on him for his ignorance on the subject. That kid could have just as easily posted that thread on this forum if he had found it first.

I don't go to TB anymore just because of this one thread. I found increasing frustration on TB with so many meaningless threads. Trying to find the good stuff was taking up too much time. Whereas the EB forum suits me just fine. TB suits many which is fine. It just doesn't suit me.

I posted a bunch of pics over there today of Bongos in the Bongo Mega Thread only to have them deleted by a moderator saying that the pics violated their "Cup" policy since I'm a dealer...only thing was they were pics of your basses which you've already bought from Jack and VBTC...I wasn't attemping to "sell" anything..they were already sold...ok..I snuck in the Stealth Bongo but I think I'm going to be taking that one to my grave anyway so that shouldn't count. I simply posted the same pics that I have here in the photo thread above...whatever...just putting up some pretty pics...fuggem.

I will say this though, I've been a member over there longer than any other board out there (including my own!) and I've had a few run-ins with a couple of the moderators but I think the world of Paul and think he's created a wonderful thing yet unwieldy just by it's shear size.

Who remembers "Punch the Monkey?"

Besides...I do tend to spam a bit...only means an internet dealer has to sell basses really if you think about it.

I'll admit it.

I love the fact that after posting and desperately chipping in to defend himself he just sort of goes quiet........never mind.

I have never considered MM basses to be mass produced as you have so many choices now its like BP and the guys and gals at SLO build your own custom bass....and that to me is pricesless.:)

Mr Ball, you should know that you really don;t have to attempt any kind of justification.

I pay in £'s what you guys do in $'s and I'm still a happy camper.

Hilarious thread, LOL
Whenever that kid gets old enough to look for a real job and try to make a living,
he will realize that all the big companies have moved over to China...
Why do I pay $ 25.00 for a top quality T-shirt "made in USA", while I could get
4 for $ 5.00 at Wal-Mart? because after 2 laundries, the cheap ones are going
to the trash can, or I use them as "sandpaper".

Hey, cotton is cheap, right? after all, it is just a plant, it should be "free", right?
let's all grow cotton in our backyards, and make our own t-shirts, LOL
