I still don't understand why land is so expensive in California. If you think about it, it's really just a big (or small) pile of dirt and maybe a few pieces of shubbery.

ironically enough i just signed a big ol stack of papers this morning that had a lot of words on them but the jist was "you're in a crap load of debt ... enjoy this small house"
