...It has a number of pre EB features not on the classic series such as string tree on the D and G strings, and no position marker on the 22nd fret (top and side). The decal is as a pre EB also.

Don't forget the control knobs. They're a pre EB Feature also

Thanks Gav - that's cool, I'd noticed they had a free-er operation compared with my classic Ray. The pick up's a work of art as well, complete with non-tapered edge pole pieces and the split cover. I can't wait to try this bass at volume. If it's anything like the sound at home volumes it will be exceptional.
