I was thinking it may be time to rename the ebay/craigslist thread. So I'm wondering, what apps/sites/services you use for finding used MM instruments?
Please respond to the poll, but also as a resource for others, please tell us what country you are in, what services you like best, and why?

Also The Gear Page for me.

If there are others where people have had success besides the options here, I'd love to know. I will eventually find a 25th Anniversary in Venetian Red. :)

In the past few years, all my purchases have been online. Mostly Reverb.
Years ago, I ordered new through a dealer.

Oh, I've started watching the Sweetwater Used site...but honestly, I forget about it a lot.

I clicked Reverb & Craigslist. That said, most of my EBMM guitars have been new purchases. I also have purchased and/or sold one or two on this forum and my very first was a used Guitar Center purchase in 2009

Honestly, quite a few places. Craigslist, Ebay, Sweetwater, Reverb, FB Marketplace, TGP, Sevenstring forum, and anyone that may be tied to collections that I've come to know over the years.

A simple Google search for a specific model will often bring up mom-and-pop shops that often don't get mentioned/noticed by most.

Texas Finally!
While I do see Reverb ones, I dislike Reverb ( and do not have an account) just like I dislike Ebay ( never look on Ebay)

Nowadays it is the EBMM forum, TGP, Sweetwater when I remember it and dealers, thanks Pete ;)

Many dealer sites for me. Dave's has a good site.
And no mention of the auction sites? Heritage, Juliens etc... also estate sales . Auction 360 Live etc...

Arlington had a couple Albert's w 3 mm90 and RW neck that I passed on. Another dealer had the full RW axis.

I've had the best luck buying used from local shops, which I would think would be the most useful element of that thread.

I have saved searches on Reverb and a couple of occasional checkins on TGP, which has resulted in a couple of other EBMM purchases.

Reverb for me, and like François, I also check Zikinf, and Audiofanzine (though AF seems to be less useful recently).

I'm surprised to see any votes for Craigslist. I thought is was a hell hole of scammers everywhere in the world. I guess maybe not?
I've sold several pedals locally on Craigslist recently. I just delete the obvious scammer emails.

This is interesting to me. You must be in a larger city.

Luckily I'm pretty happy with my collection at the moment. The one I keep an eye on is the CL/FS thread here, since that turns up interesting items.

When I'm on the hunt, it's Reverb, various forums (since the Reverb stuff is always posted somewhere else for less), and local ads- Facebook Marketplace/Kijiji (sort of a Canadian Craigslist). I'm in a big city so there's always interesting stuff that's not too far away.

Guitar Center's used pages can be pretty great as well. I've scored a few good items from them.
