Jean...I have talked to you on the phone and you seemed like a stand up guy to me. Big Poppa loves us all and watches out for us like we do him. You have been through a terrible incident and I was glad to help in any way that I could. I would do it for anyone who has been wronged. Let us know when the bass gets back in your hands....that will make your emotions come to rest knowing you got your bass back. Call or e-mail me if you need anything.

JF, As long as you keep your total here I don't think it will go over, but if it does, yes you can reject a payment. I am really glad you're getting your bass back. I would stop legal pursuits at this point because it seems like a lost cause. That's just my honest opinion, others may disagree. Just learn from it and don't leave your important possessions w/ others.

You know what, Canadian law sucks with stuff like this. Financial crimes here are not treated like they are in the States (at least what we see on TV). My dad had $1.5 million stolen from his company, and they basically blamed him for it?? Now how f'ed is that?

Way too many years of liberal government here!!

You guys deserve to have a documentary dedicated to this board because this is the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
Jean told me about his stolen bass back when he wasn't sure if it was stolen or not. He's been through hell these past six months, as though a child of his had been kidnapped. It's almost the same thing - only musicians can know that - but anyways.
Today I signed on and Jean told me that you guys had done the most amazing thing for him ever... so I read through the pages of this and I can't help but be awestruck.
If only you realized the extent to which you have changed his life, and set a model to the entire world just how compassionate people can be. For a start, it's easy to say that you've given him back his faith in the world which had been lost when his drummer pawned his bass. You've also given me faith in humanity and I didn't have anything to do with this.
I suggest you call the media in and let them describe the whole story, this is better than a fairy tale. And once Rob gets fined and beaten up and everything else he deserves, it'll be even better than that.

Jean, tell me how much is remaining to cover your costs and I will send it all. I don't care if it's a hundred bucks. (Then we can tell Roger and get him to track down Rob in Vancouver and have him beaten to death in a mosh pit - muahahaha)

Love,
Sadie
