Hi guys,

saw 'em in Zurich last night :) Well, the 6-stringers wasn't the Bongo. I guess it was the Yamaha, but I don't what it looks like. I think he used it for 2 or 3 songs only. And MAN, did the Bongo sound so much better, you couldn't hear the Yamaha but the Bongo was cutting through the mix so well!

I actually don't know much about them, but they started with 2 songs from the new album, then played Images and Words in its entirety, and 2 other c lassic songs in the encore. They said they were playing Images and Words in its entirety on a few select EU dates to celebrate the 15 years of its release.

I got to meet John for a brief while, two days ago in Turkey.

He said he is very happy with MM, and when I asked him about the 6'er, he said you guys were currently building him one...

Anyway, he's a really cool guy. All of them are. But JM in particular was really awesome, and quite responsive. :):p

Yeah, I think talking about "all things bass" with JM can't be that hard as he's really into the bass. Like JP said in the "Score"-documentary: "he lived for practicing bass" or something. Dedication like that makes him a supercool guy in my book. He used to write a column in Bass-Player for a while too. Some of the better things that has been printed in that mag. All the guys in DT seem really level-headed.

And the bass-sound on Constant Motion is his best sound ever IMO.
