Are there any video reviews on the JP13 out there floating around? When are they due to be in stores? Has anyone on the forum gotten their hands on it?

Any new developments on the progress of The Majesty?

Thanks for any info! :)

Majesty is a work in progress that may never see daylight.

I Reeeeealy wish the Majesty would have that beautiful binding of the fretboard we saw in various scenes of the Chaos in Progress DVD .....

also, if everyone can notice that BFR mentioned, doesn't have the BFR 12th fret inlay. The video was recorded in 2007. Sorry to have steered this thread in the wrong direction with my followup post here. OK, back on topic. I love what John and BP do together and the collaboration between them is fantastic! Whatever surfaces for JP's ever evolving line of his sig model, is always awesome regardless. If we see a newly evolved incarnation, that's a total bonus... I'm sure that the JP13 (what John is using now) is sufficient for their latest installment in the DT saga. Future development is always welcome, but as you probably can tell, he's pretty busy.. I'll bet the JP15 or JP20 for that matter, would be a major milestone on the horizon, and certainly a significant opportunity for a whirlwind on the JP line. Patience....

So is the JP13 a BFR but without the BFR inlay?

Yes they have done away with the BFR inlay on the 12th fret replacing it with the bullet inlay (which I kinda think is neat) and instead have added the BFR logo on the back neck plate. I think theres a photo of it floating around here somewhere.

Ehh, personally I think the BFR is a little skimpy on the back plate and preferred the inlay but hey…that's just me.

The jp13 is out, but I'm not sure anyone has it in stock. Contact musicman if you are looking to find one.
