Yes, I will look into it, but I assume this master account is the account started to reserve the block of rooms. We have a contract in place for what BP pays for, so I am not worried they will over charge.

Adelucia, it is very nice of them to have honored the EB rate for all of the nights you have booked. Remember, we have locked in a group rate of $109 per night for Friday 9/28 and Saturday 9/29 only. If you have managed to talk them down to the EB group rate for the other nights, that's great. It probably has changed since MikeVT checked it out because they realized that there would be many people trying to book days not included in the EB group rate at the $109 price.
We will be paying for your Friday night's stay.

Only meant to share my experience for the greater good... Anticipated others would be making similar reservations and run into the same issues.
Beth - I didn't talk her into anything - I was completely prepared to pay whatever rate for the Thursday, just wanted to ensure I had a room reserved. Amy told me they were honoring the rate before/after the Friday/Saturday as they realized there would be folks coming early/leaving late, though I do not recall how many days she mentioned (one or two before/after?).
BP - of course, there's thanks all around! I know you can understand us kiddies and our enthusiasm for these events - Christmas comes early for us three-years running! My apologoes if my post came across as a complaint - was not intended in that vein.

Just finished booking on line. 27 - 30, $109 a night, + the customary taxes.

Ok, so here is an update for you. Embassy Suites is extending the reduced room rate for our group for the two days before and after our reserved weekend. If you booked nights Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday and were not confirmed for the $109 rate, the rate will be fixed upon check in.

just booked via the special link. i added thursday to my stay and they honored the EBMM rate for thursday as well... all through their site. So i suggest you guys use the link cuz it was 100% super easy

I'm in. What about transportation once I get to Palm Springs airport, should I rent a car or take a shuttle to the hotel?
I'm due into Palm Springs at 11AM on the 27th. I plan on hanging around and hopefully catching the Toto concert that night.
