I'm arriving on the 27th and driving from LAX (hoping I make it to Palm Springs in time). Leaving PS on the Monday and driving to Las Vegas for a few days, then heading back to LA and up to SLO. Flying to Toronto for a rock concert and then back to LAX. If you want a lift let me know?

MD is our neighbor - whereabouts are you going to be? I'm sure Thom's got a gig somewhere that weekend you could drop in on or, just want to escape the pre-nup frenzy for a few hours. That is, if inclination and time allow.

Unfortunately my little sister is getting married(finally) that same weekend back in Maryland so I will have to miss this extraordinary event. I'm sure you guys will pick up the slack for me, and I look forward to seeing pictures and movies galore when I get back.

Radrock, I concur - The Police were fabulous! I recently saw them in Philly.

and really, Spectre, it's just a really nice resort in a really nice area. Fantasy Springs is right next to the 10 and the views are so-so compared to the really beautiful views in the La Quinta cove. I say "really" too much.

BP, I've been to the wooden boat show on Lake Coeur D Alene. My oh my, I've never seen so many beautiful boats in one location (and I've been to quite a few). There is a lot-o-money on that lake.
