Yeah, I just realized that BP already did say what pickguard it would have... yeah, I'm an idiot...

But it kinda is fun to wonder what it would look like with a different guard on it... we all change up guards all the time anyway...

We think we'll offer it in both rosewood and maple. Matching will most likely be mandatory. We shot a few non burst colors, but none of them were exciting. This was the first burst we shot. Our paint supplier sent us a boat load of samples, and on this bass in particular Dudley saw it and came up with the idea to "tobacco burst" it.

Dargin, thank you!!! Like I said over on the guitar side. If an AL with a rosewood fretboard is available, this is a no-brainer. This is going to be a killer combo.

Although my wife is going to require some serious sucking-up since I have an Axis SS on order and plan to order another with MM90's and hardtail in the next week or two and now the '08 LE! I'm really glad I picked up those diamond earrings for her while I was out at Desert Domination, sort of greasing the skids...

I wrote up the NAMM Bongo 6 / LE order yesterday. The LE's we will show are a Luke, Bongo 6, and Sterling HS. Maybe we'll switch it up and change the Sterling to a Sterling 5 HS...

Man, I bet those will look killer. I was thinking this might be the oppportunity to get a Luke, but I kind of promised myself an AL in 2008 (not necessarily 2008 LE, though).

Very nice color choice for the 2008 LE! I might have to go beyond my comfort zone and finally get a Bongo, if the LE color will be available on a 4 string.
