Oh yeah, I forgot.....

(Said in a nasal whine......)

I would like a Swamp Ash Bongo, blonde finish, Maple 'Board, no pickguard.

Other than that, it's all good.

I was certain that at least one person would be saying something about bringing back sparkle finishes by now .....

(I can't believe a thread like this would even get started. A "Let's see what everyone has against Music Man" thread. Come on, if you have an issue post it but to encourage complaints? Threads like this will not help MM keep this forum going).

I just LUVS my SR5 family! :D

I have no real complaints. I just think it's funny that the bulk of your post is an aside. :D

SBG, I think you over-react!
Most of the "complaints" were really suggestions or "wish-for" items,
I don't think anybody bagged on the instruments!
Nothing wrong with a manufacturer getting suggestions or even constructive criticism from the end-users, anyway.
There's a general concensus that MM makes an excellent product, or we wouldn't seek out and post on THIS forum in the first place.

Jonguitarz was only kidding.......I think~! :D

Allot of the "complaints" were bitchy things such as:

The knobs are to stiff.

You're kidding right?? Do some push-ups!! :D

Actually they are like that only when they're new. They "wear in" after awhile.

Allot of the other "complaints" are kind of petty too.

they might be petty, but dont you think a company would appreciate feedback about its product? the general thought here is that MM basses are top quality and 2nd to none. everybody loves theirs. i think its just the little things that people are complaining about, or things they wish their instruments had. i love MM's. i have yet to own one, but i played one once for less than 5 minutes and was hooked. ive had a squier for close to 3 years and i dont even feel remotely close to it as i do the stingray that i played. hows that for a complaint? i dont like my current bass becuase im in love with a stingray that im to poor to give a loving home to. :(

I will adopt anyone's troubled EB bass and give it a good home until it outgrows it evil ways.

No complaints about the basses themselves otherwise I wouldn't have bought them!! ;)

However... I would like to see so called "obsolete" spares being made available to keep older models goings (both orginal MM and EBMM ones). :(

Oh and how about a new thread called "let's brown nose" for those looking at the world through rose tinted specs. :p

Perhaps a bit :) , but honestly for the money, there is not much not to like about any of the EB basses. Besides, to paraphrase you, if we didn't like them we wouldn't have bought them.

I hear if you brown-nose enough, EBMM will send you a free bass! That's my motivation.... I'll take the honeyburst SR5 w/piezo, please... :D :D :D

I got dibs on the troubled EB basses so back of CG bro. :)

I wish my old 386 computer that I spent over 2 grand on worked like my Mac does and it was supported like it would do just that.

I wish the world no more problems.
