This is going to be a blast, I can't wait! I'm local, but will be traveling on business that week and won't be back in DFW until probably 4:00 or so Friday afternoon.

I might be good for some 3 chord 4/4 cover kinda stuff, depending on how much liquor is consumed... I'll pack up a guitar or two in case there's a dire need for an astonishingly mediocre guitar player. :)

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Nah, I used to drive from Austin to Phoenix pretty often for lesser reasons. Do it!;)

Hey RitchieDarling and DFW1004
Im flying out of PHX on 11/3... If I decide to take my company plane (SWA) I'll fly into DAL and rent a car...otherwise I'll stick out my thumb and ride on either AA or HP (america west/usair)... either way the price is right ($0). If you are planning on flying out and bringing an axe, let me know and I will make sure it gets a 1st class ride in the cockpit. I once carried $45,000 worth of violin bows in my cockpit for a member of the PHX symphony. (the crazy thing was that these were mid-level bows and there were only three of them!) Looking forward to a fun time in Dallas! - Capt Don

Don, you're a pilot? Forget the axe...hook a brotha up with a free ticket! :)

Pug, yes, you're crazy...and I didn't need this thread to tell you that. ;)

NorM and I were on tap to roll it from TUS to DFW, and I'm sure that we could have pulled it off, but man, we're just not as young as we were. So, we're gonna hop on a bird to get there.

(Side note: I pulled off Temple, TX to Phoenix, AZ in about 13 in 1997...144 between El Paso and Lordsburg. Fun, yet scary and dangerous!)

I prefer to consider myself as a musician with a day gig as a heavy equipment operator...Trying to non-rev to dallas on SWA on a friday (or anyday for that matter) would work about as well as trying to get B.P. to wear a three piece suit to the birthday bash. ;) The only way I can get away with it is that I can sit forward of the fortified door. I'm still not sure how I'm gonna get the better half there. She may have to sit this one out :( See ya'll in dallas! -Capt' Don

I should be in Dallas by noon-2pm, checked in and whatnot.

If anyone wants to hit a music store or just jam or something, I'm game. :)

I'll have one of my JP7's (probably my original one, I want BP or Jon (if he's going) to give me an opinion on a refret)) and my 1x12 83' Boogie MarkIIC+.

If I get there on the early side of noon, I'll probably go hit up the Blue Goose for (IMO) THE best Mexican food in Dallas if not in the state of Texas (at least that I've eaten!).

Anyone that's game for that is welcome to follow me there as well. :D

Hey BP, I don't know if its been mentioned, but are you guys planning on bringing some guitars along? I am bringing my older brother and I want to convert him to a MM, but unfortunately all he has ever played was an Axis. I want to get s Sil and an Albert in his hands and see how he likes them.
