I can't get enough of those transition pickups! I really like the 2, 3, and 4 positions. It really has made my strat feel lifeless and boring. Luke3 is deffinatly a winner.

I got my LIII yesterday. I agree it has a really lively sound. Plus the neck is fabulous. Profile-wise I'd place it somewhre inbetween my Luke's I & II, which is perfect for me. Out of the box the setup was wrong, as the bridge was flat to the body, so I had to get busy with a screwdriver and an allen key. Also the volume knob was loose on the push-push pot, and came right off in my hand. No biggie. Something that will take some getting used to is the size of the trem arm. In my opinion it's just too big, and the arm on the Luke II is a lot easier to deal with. Aside from those small details, I couldn't be happier.

I agree. I've never bought used. Like you say, it's not just the warranty & support, which is great in itself, but it's that warm fuzzy feeling. You are putting your mojo into the instrument from the off, knowing that nobody else has done that already.

If you bought it new, call the dealer. In Europe you have a two year warranty. Failing that email customer service (link in my sig below).
