These guys are really trying to figure out how to make a better relationship with their customers and figure out how to sell boutique products like our instruments better.

i have had a few great dudes help me out - and gotten some huge deals (who hasnt)

problem with GC is that there's jsut too many dudes that work there that think like this: "oh you're not buying a $4,000 guitar - hmm, im not making much commission off you. here buy this cannoe paddle and stop wasting my time so i can lie to the next poor kid or mom and try n score a fat commission off them; well, after i take a smoke break".

Lucious,

She isn't married to the ex-singer of "Nitro", is she? Hahahaha.
If so, you are one lucky mo' fo!

No, really.. I wasn't asking. ;)

You're right, it *is* like a prison in here with the skewed male:female ratio.
We've got a few ladies from EBMM (Beth, Aziah, Blair) Tommy's Janice, Vicky the Philly Kid, and then a gal from the UK (azzy_wazzy) and that's about it.

This forum must be terrifying for females, and doubly so since you're arrived! Hahahha!

Hey Steve,

I just happened upon this particular thread.

Most amusing!

This forum isn't scary at all. Even with ol' Luke here. I think he's funny. Sort of like a bull in a china shop. But in a good way! :D

Although, if it was me with the major dental surgery thing, and someone rented Marathon Man because they thought it was FUNNY, I would have to hurt them. But in a good way! :D :D

And Luke - your guitar playing is absolutely beyond stellar. Plus, I LOVE your Christmas CD "Santa Mental". I play that one at Christmas time and also on my Christmas-in-July show.

I have yet to see an EB/MM at guitar center here in Nashville...
I got my JP6 at Guitar Center :) They had it in that little "high roller" room with the custom-shop Jacksons (kinda neat) and the $3200 Gibsons (bleh). Plugged it into a Mesa Dual Rec and I knew I had to have it.

It seems as though there are no recordings of Banjo Annie.

Ok V....I give. How the HECK did you figure that out without any clues? I'm impressed!

Hey Mike,

it was pretty simple. I just right-clicked on the photo (which gives you an option to 'save as') - when I did that, it gave me a file name of banjoannie. So, I first searched Google Images, and then looked for the regular website and got the link.

Uh...heh...heh...now I'm embarrassed. I should have thought of that. I did the 'properties' thing on the photo, but didn't think to try the save as....

I guess I'm dropping more and more bits as I get older....:(

Not to worry. I find myself forgetting all sorts of thangs these days. I keep saying I should hire some young kid to follow me around and write down everything I say! ;)

as for the bits you are dropping.....um, have you seen a doctor about that? : :D ;)
