The more I look at the pics, the more I love it. This is going to be a tough wait, but I'm up for it. and as soon as we are able I will put in my order for one of them. This is going to be a fantastic instrument. I truly cannot wait to own, play and enjoy one of these.

Wow, the overlay with the JP13 really shows you just how much more of your thumb you can get up the neck.

I really wait to try one through the neck light Not my cup of tea but who knows?

:) I like the fact that it's a light guitar. This design is really growing on me. Can't wait to get more specs

I love the looks of this guitar...especially in the Mystic Dream.

But for me...here's the deal....

EBMM have made Johns "perfect" guitar.

For music fans and guitar fans, that is something we should be very excited about. He is an incredible musician, and a virtuoso guitarist. He has a company who make him what he needs to express his musicality.

Will I ever play one? Maybe not...

Am I looking forward to the music John makes on it? Hell yes...

It's all about the music.

On the next DT album, when you close your eyes and say "s**t, this is good", or when you are walking out of a mind-blowing gig....that will be when all the work from this amazing team will be worthwhile.

Thanks BP for involving us.

Is the Majesty a shorter scale length? In the overlay picture, the 24th frets are lined up but as you go down the fretboard, the frets go out of alignment. Also looks like the Majesty's headstock is a bit longer.

I think it just needs a little more scaling down to fit perfectly. As you can see the neck is also a tad bit wider on the overlay.

I did what I could with the scaling to keep the original pictures in proportion. There are a few other factors I can't really control, like camera angle yadda yadda yadda. But I think it gives a fair comparison between the two. Are we really critiquing an overlay?

dev....why do I write this stuff? hahahaahh Im giving you all I can give abou tthe inside of guitar design....I promise Im not lying!

Im just saying seeing the two models overlaid on one another shows that the horn is not that much longer than the previous models horn. It appears that way at least. :)

I won't be buying the guitar because I'm not a fan of the looks, but I'm a MASSIVE fan of MM for giving JP exactly what he wanted. Nothing but respect for MM and the way they treat their artists. That is what will keep me buying MM guitars. That and the fact that they make a whole bunch of guitars that I love.

I don't know when these will be hitting the stores but I can't wait to try one and hopefully buy one at some point down the road.

Hi folks. It's been quite a while since I checked in here. Several years ago I turned a buddy on to my JP6 and suggested that he sell several of his 'lesser' guitars and get an EBMM. A few months ago he finally did just that (got himself a spiffy JP BFR with a top that SUCKS :) ). Anyway, a few days ago he posted the Majesty guitar to my Facebook page and asked what I thought of it.

This was my first exposure to the guitar. Had no idea it was in the pipeline, as I've been out of the loop for at least that long. Bottom line: I love it. It immediately evoked the Bongo guitar prototype that I got to hold in my own two hands at the first EBMM Open House. It also brought the JP "Shield" into the body (imho). I don't mean to sound like a kiss-ass, but I think it's a thing of absolute beauty and it's remarkably unique. I don't even know the specs of it yet, but I would buy one sight unseen if I were in the market for another guitar. Partly because it's just a stunning piece of art, but also because I know how much thought goes into every aspect of these guitars by JP, Drew, Dudley, BP, et al. Finally, I own a few EBMM guitars and therefore know the consistent quality and playability of this company's creations. So call me a suck-up if you will, but pass the Majesty to me while you do.
