Do they even make the musicman skb hard cases anymore?
I dont think so, but pretty sure you can get something similar, believe Sweetwater carries themDo they even make the musicman skb hard cases anymore?
100% agree!Too bulky to lug around town but not sturdy enough for airplane cargo travel.

Same, I like the hard case at home and locally, and the Gator Transit as carry-on on planes. They have good protection, shoulder straps, and fit in the overhead or in the front locker on the airplane. The mono cases are pretty nice, but they don’t have a shoulder strap and they’re too wide for airplane carryon.I'm mostly on the indifferent spectrum. I prefer Gator Transit gig bags anytime I'm bringing a guitar/bass out (similar to a Mono Sleeve but better form factor IMO). Like almost everyone else has already pointed out, I find the hardshell cases are easier to stack both horizontally and vertically in the inevitable "guitar case closet". I don't think it’s a big enough deal to kill the Mono cases over, but I get it.
