Glenn, congratulations on your first StingRay 5! This Black//rosewood beauty was completed on 5/25/05 and originally shipped to King City Music in Kansas City, Missouri (OOB).

Joe, that is something (as an employee of EBMM) that I really cannot do. That is strictly between you and the seller. Prices are something we really don't discuss on the Forum anyway.

Sorry -

Hi Dan,

I can't believe I've never asked this before but here goes. What can you tell me about SR5 E51195?

I have an SR4 as well but not to hand and I can't find the serial number (oops)

Thanks!

Neil, I can't believe you've never asked either! ;) Your StingRay 5 HH in Honeyburst with a rosewood board and a white pickguard was built on March 2 2006 and was shipped to the U.K.

Regarding your StingRay 4 - look at the bridge between the intonation screws for the number. You need to be in good light.

Cheers,

Dan

Thanks Dan - pretty close, although it now has a black pickguard so your records are wrong wrong wrong ha ha :p:D:D

Hey, that means it was over a year old when I bought it yet Strings and Things told me it was new!! So I reckon Blind Lemon owes me a pint - result! :D

My SR4 is still in the US on my boat (really, it's a long story) so I can't look at it (let alone play it) to check the serial number. I know I recorded the serial number somewhere for insurance purposes but I can't find the excel file anywhere. I'll have another rummage about on our old PC and get back to you if I find it.

Thanks for your help - it's a great service!

Cheers

Neil
