I'm back with the Ballers with my newly acquired 30th Anniversary SR4. Low serial number, at least compared to my old 30th - E35002. A date of birth would be cool, thanks!

Nice! This one was built on 5/12/06 and was shipped to GC.

Rog, that serial number is referencing a Sequoia Gold StingRay 4 - are you certain of the serial number?

Or maybe it's me that is off - that's 2 in a row with serial number issues.

hoochie, your StingRay was completed on 9/15/00 and was shipped to Riks Music & Sound in Knoxville, Tennessee. The body wood should be poplar.

Certainly - this Trans Red StingRay 5 with a rosewood fretboard was completed on 8/21/98. The body wood should be alder, but there is a possibility it is ash. You can tell by the wood grain.

Thanks again. Funny thing is I recently picked up my "old" Stingray I traded in at Bills. They had it in a glass case, and decided to buy it back(once I haggled on the price) from them. I believe it's an 03 Autumn Sparkle Redburst...I'll ask for a date once I get some pictures of it.
