December 5th, 1989. It is blueburst and was originally sent to Strings & Things. I don't have information regarding the wood but it is either ash, alder or poplar. The pickup is alnico. The fretboard should be pau ferro.

That bass was completed on June 10th, 1993. The body is probably ash or poplar. The neck is maple.

That bass was completed on December 27th, 2000 and it was shipped to Music Arts Enterprises in Florida. It is vintage sunburst and it shipped with a black pickguard.

That number brings up a fretless Stingray 5 completed on March 1st, 1989.

That bass was completed on July 31st, 2013. Body is ash, neck is maple with rosewood fretboard and the pickup is alnico.

That number brings up a fretless Stingray 5 completed on March 1st, 1989.

That is really interesting, because now the bass has frets. Do you have any more detail on bass SN 50552 such as body wood, pickup type and also whether the fret job was something done at a later point in the factory or by a third party? Thank you so much for all of your help in this. There seems to be a really interesting history around this bass that makes it truly unique and one of kind.
