Hi Joel,

Thanks a lot for the information! In my case the body does not seem to have a date stamp in the neck pocket/pup cavity (it is not my bass, but one that I was considering to buy and only the body is being sold). Does that sometimes happen with pre-EB stingrays? Is there any other way I can figure out whether the body is authentic?

This StingRay 2EQ was completed on October 20th, 1994. The color is Natural with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Strings & Things.

It's difficult to say since it was made before Ernie Ball took over the company. E-mail some photos or a link to the ad to [email protected], we'll check it out. Just a heads up, our necks are proprietary, so aftermarket neck options would be the only thing available if they aren't selling it with the original neck.

The Sterling was completed on June 10th, 1996. The color is Pearl Blue with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on August 22nd, 2006. The color is Natural Gloss with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

This StingRay HH was completed on October 3rd, 2007. The color is Blue Dawn with the Maple neck & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Parker Music. Unfortunately we don't have production number records available.

F25157 - This Big Al was completed on May 12th, 2009. The color is Electric Blue with the Rosewood fretboard & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Dubaldo Music Center.

F27361 - This Big Al 5 was completed on June 22nd, 2010. The color is White Pearl with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Bizarre Guitar.
