Mornin guys!
Well, I JUST got my new guitars yesterday and I am knocked OUT! Some of you at NAMM may have seen them, the Blue flame and the dark cherry quilted burst-like axes?? The Ball Family Reserve guitars! These play like buttrer and sound SO good. I am taking them on the road in march and I am using them on my new solo record that I am knee deep in. Once again.. just the best guitars out there!! I am honored to be a part of the family and thanks again to Sterling, Dudley, Brian and Scotty! You cats RULE!
I have really been into my arsenal of MM's. My new record is ALL Vintage amps, no racks and all that sh*t. Thats fine for live and having all the options but I am just pluggin into old amps, AC-30's , a really funky old Gibson amp that screams, Marshalls of course, and my old Ampeg VT-22, an old 1/10 Supro etc.. I notice that these guitars morph depending on what amp you play thru. VERY cool organic FAT ASS tones. Its nice to really hear these guitars sing. I think if any of you guys are interestred when my record comes out in the Fall, you will be VERY surprised at the Tones that I got and the versatility fo these axes. Old vintage mics-pre-amps and compressors thru an old 64 channel NEVE board ( parts of which come from EMI-LONDON). Dark Side of ther Moon was recorded on 16 channels of this desk.. anyway I am REALLY happy and these guitars KILL!!
Ok, too much coffee. haha
Have a great day and Music Man rules!
