That probably makes more sense backwards than forwards. Speaking of palindromes...

I'm a lasagna hog. Go hang a salami.

And no, I do not have that much free time....;)

Wow! I was unaware of that palindrome! The longest I'd ever seen was the proverbial, "a man, a plan, a canal, Panama!"

I learned something today! Hooray! Now to assess its usefulness....

Are the different switch positions balanced in volume? Or are the 2 Pu settings louder than single PUs especially single coil settings?

One of my favorite things about these new basses is that you can hear the "Music Man" sound in every position of the switch. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks Derek and the rest of you at EB. While you have done the bass world a great service. I find myself with a delemma.

Now I have to wait until I get my hands on one of those new ones. My local shop still has never stocked a bongo. I would have bought any bongo they had but.. it didn't seem to fit the local market here.

Now I gotta figure out do I want a Bongo? Do I want a SR 5 with two pups?
I am old and usually know what I want.

Well that is all because I already know what I want. EB sound. They all do that so what do I do for the scratches in my head? Please don't say lemon oil.

:)

Tom, you're always welcome to come try out my Bongos, and lo they are many and they are all strung with flats.

You have a Stingray 5. And that is good.

Having been a long time Stingray 5 fanatic, I would advise you, if I were going to advise anyone and I am not, but if I were to do such a thing, I would say, "Tom, color outside the lines, my friend, and get yourself a Bongo."

But you know what? Let me get my mitts on a dual hummer Stingray 5 and I might be changing my advice, were I to give you any, which I am not.

I saw these at the summer NAMM show, and didn't pay close attn. But what model of bass is this feature going to be on?? I always wished that MM would have released a dual HH model in the Sterling or Stingray.

It doesn't really say anything on the MM site about the HH models. If I can one day get a Stingray in HH config, it'll be a cream dream!!!!

Thanks!
