Ok, so I decided to keep the guitar as is with the dent.
Like many of you already said, that dent is so tiny and barely noticeable and definitely not worth getting so obsessed about.
I love how this guitar feels and plays and a new neck may or may not feel as good, but I don't want to take that chance.
It would also be such a pity to have this neck thrown away for something this tiny.
And I'm definitely going to play this guitar A LOT, so chances are I will put some dings in it in the long run, so it won't matter anyway.
I will post a proper NGD-thread with more pics soon.
Thanks everybody for your input and comments on this, much appreciated![]()
I'd say a couple things
1. If you're in love with the neck on it in terms of playability, keep it as there are some small differences from time to time if you get the neck replaced.
2. Also, if you're going to keep it and they have already offered you a $200 discount, theres nothing wrong with trying to get them to sweeten the deal a little. Like a box of your favorite strings too thrown in.
I'd ask them for that as well.
Good luck. I have a headstock chip on one of mine like that and it always mocks me when i pick the guitar up...as does whoever hears me play come to think of it
