Ok, so I decided to keep the guitar as is with the dent.
Like many of you already said, that dent is so tiny and barely noticeable and definitely not worth getting so obsessed about.
I love how this guitar feels and plays and a new neck may or may not feel as good, but I don't want to take that chance.
It would also be such a pity to have this neck thrown away for something this tiny.

And I'm definitely going to play this guitar A LOT, so chances are I will put some dings in it in the long run, so it won't matter anyway.

I will post a proper NGD-thread with more pics soon.

Thanks everybody for your input and comments on this, much appreciated :)

I'd say a couple things
1. If you're in love with the neck on it in terms of playability, keep it as there are some small differences from time to time if you get the neck replaced.

2. Also, if you're going to keep it and they have already offered you a $200 discount, theres nothing wrong with trying to get them to sweeten the deal a little. Like a box of your favorite strings too thrown in.
I'd ask them for that as well.

Good luck. I have a headstock chip on one of mine like that and it always mocks me when i pick the guitar up...as does whoever hears me play come to think of it

This is a very personal issue.

If it bothers you now, it will always bother you, so if you can change it, I would.

If you can live with it, then keep it.

That´s why buying new guitars is so different than buying old ones which you know have some issues. As long as the "issues" (dings, dents, buckle rush, etc) are known previously, you can live with them. That´s my opinion :D

Good luck!

I totally understand. I can get OCDish about these types of things too. If you are like me, it will bother you until you give it the first ding or dent yourself, then you will forget about it.

Glad to see you decided to keep it.

I was just about to say the same thing.... The moment you make your first dent yourself (and it WILL happen) you will feel like a tool and wish you had kept the $200 bucks....

If the neck feels great, dont let it goes to waste because of this tiny detail... , its a EBMM neck... Still a beautiful birds eye maple piece of art...
Just my 2 cents.!!!
;p

Honestly I would get the neck replaced if that was an option. Sure it might take some time to get the guitar back but, at the end of the day it'll be exactly how you want it. There's a big difference between putting a ding in your guitar yourself than someone else IMO. I can live with the damage I've inflected but I like to try and maintain my guitars the be as immaculate as possible. Unrealistic I know but, it's my struggle.

If I were strictly a collector I would get it replaced, but if you're planning on actually playing the thing $200 is a great deal.
