We need a central location to post all the pictures of these beautiful premier dealer honeyburst basses!

Post pictures, sound clips, pickguards, experiences, reviews, tonal thoughts etc!

I will be recording a direct comparison "regular" Sterling HH vs PDN Sterling HH soon

Heres mine although there really are no pictures that can do it justice... please post yours!

When I get mine, I will post pictures of it. I ordered a PDN Honey Burst Bongo 4 HHp but the order somehow got lost? Fortunately, Music Man and Bass Central both have excellent customer service and the bass was re-ordered in September and should either be finished any day now or arrive at Bass Central any day now. It was also the only 4 HHp Bongo made so she will be an original. Woot!

PDN = Premier Dealer Network. In this case, it's referring to a special limited edition EBMM guitar/bass configuration that was only available to dealers who are in the Premier Dealer Network for the month of April 2012. There have been a few different PDN-only limited edition models in the past and, I suspect, there will be some more in the future. You have to keep your eyes peeled for the announcements here on the forum.

Here's mine:

No question this run is just incredible, visually stunning and more importantly they are tonal bliss. I have to use some of TPB's pics as you can see I need a better camera. But I won't need another 5HH Bongo this baby is staying.

LOL!! Very good point!!! I'm pretty sure I will never sell this glorious work of craftsmanship but it's great to know you guys are there for me!!

I gotta say, I am loving playing the fretless and it is now my #1. To be honest, it's hard to compare it to the fretted because, now that I have it, I realize they're kind of different animals and the tone is a fair bit different. But I am surprised I love playing it this much. I was worried that I would find it frustrating to play or that I would suck at it. Sure, it took a bit of getting used to...but, surprisingly, not that much. I'm also REALLY surprised how much muscle memory really works to get me where I need to go. I need to work on my fretless technique so I can coax more mwah out of it when I want to. Probably if I had flats on it instead of Cobalts it might be easier as the wound strings sort of resist the kind of micro sliding that I think may be better for mwah.

But...anyway...I digress!! Carry on!! :)

Just found out today that mine is en route to Bass Central as I type this. I'm assuming they will get it by Friday and then it will be shipped to me so I should have it most likely by a week from this Friday! Woot!

Page 2... way to go!
Pics do these no justice... great job for posting, I KNOW we have more PDNs on this forum so lets see em!
Holdsg: Beauty of an AL
Laneline: The Bongo is such a beauty with this run...great call
Stu: My favorite so far, that fretless showing off the Pau Ferro is incredible!

My tone take: DEFINITELY warmer but still has that strength in the mids. I find myself rolling off bass & increasing mids & treble just a bit. I'll be looking into strings that have tighter\grindier lows soon. FANTASTIC tone... just love this thing to pieces!

I just got word that Bass Central received my Bongo today and it was shipped right back out to me. According to my tracking number, I should receive it on Wednesday. I am excited!
