I'm still waiting for some replies but one german dealer already wrote that STB was an option... So I was quite confused as I didn't find any informations in this forum 'bout STB availablility - at least in the U.S.

It's not an option in the US.

@ Big Poppa:
be assured that this is one of the best options as it gives so DAMN much sustain to the sound... If I had the choice, say between a second PU and STB, I'd surely choose STB. And if I could order a SR4 DD2 with that option at a moderate price, I'd surely do it - despite what happened so far ;)

@ Aussie:
...hm... I like your ltd. SR, too

Mr Funky

THe price thing of USA VS Europe is just something that I have no control over and is a regular topic that usually ends up bad.

I try to offer as many choices as I possibly can. I understand that some love the STB. I however feel that there is a more noticeable difference when you add a pick up. The beauty of these decisions lies in your individual preferences. Im happy that you have two modern stb versions of our stuff.

sorry about those prices...

the string through is something we do in batches rarely. It is highly subjective and if people love them then Im really happy

I personally LOVE them. Wish I could get all of mine that way. Thanks for the ones I have BP!

If you think they are too expensive over here then just buy a plane ticket....
Visit Beaver at Basscentral, you can try ALL the EB's and have a nice vacation over there as well. :)

Buzz on the Guitar side, shows at least one of these DDII guitars has shipped... Any idea if this is a one off? Or a sign of things to come. My order was put in in the early hours of the day on the date the orders opened up. I know its too much to hope my big al will be arriving very soon.:D

Heres hoping

The last one took about 10 months for me due to circumstances beyond EBMM's control. Barring any unforeseeable issues, the DD2's gestation period shouldn't take as long :)

Anyone here in Germany and neighbourhood to not pass this chance and place a last minute order on a Dargie Delight II bass or guitar in the configuration of your choice? Please make sure to email or call us a.s.a.p. - ordering deadline is 12.08.09 12:00 CET, considering that we need a few hours to get your order processed and submitted to EB...

Do Not! I repeat- do not go to the geetar side of this forum and look at those pics of the two JP DD2's that have escaped early. Absolutely incredible finish, I keep getting blown away every time I see it.
