Wow!
40 different tunings!
You're very versatile. ;)

lmao. You know what I meant. The most I could ever justify owning would be like, 7. E, Eb, D, Drop-D, C, 7String Standard E, 7 String Eb.

Then I'd get 2 JP "sig" baritones (If they're gonna be made as sigs, I didn't really pay attention:eek:) for A and Ab.

40 is just a tad insane for me, but I wouldn't complain :D

Cheers guys! I forgot to mention, how fantastic do JP6s play!! I was a little worried that having not played one i would not get on with it but it fits like a glove! But its an EBMM, of course it will be a great player!

I must admit, i did enjoy all the "fawning" by the staff in the shop when they got her out of the box :) I was like a proud father

Some of you may think I'm crazy(My wife sure does), but I had my PBB Axis refinished.
Here's the before -

You do have a point about PBB - it's one of the BEST looking finishes in photos, but is very dark and obscure in normal light.
(It's like the reverse of other finishes, which generally look better in real life ?)

Mine has an awesome pattern, but it's quite hard to see unless under bright(ish) lighting.

It was pretty expensive, almost as much as what I paid for my used Silo Special.
The lucky thing was that I didn't have to run it past my wife -
I just had to sell some non EBMM crap to pay for it.
I'm overhauling the Silo now.
It was a black hardtail HSS, and it now has a original Floyd installed.
Next, I'm going to send it to be repainted Dweezil green, and then throw some new pickups in, maybe a D-Sonic, Fast Track 1, and Air Norton S.

The color matches, but it now sports the old EVH sig logo.
Not trying to fool anybody of course, obviously it's an Axis.
But they had those already there, so It beats a blank headstock I guess.
