Ah toddy boy you are a clever schemer. Turning my mistake to an advantage is a master stroke. I hadn't thought of that one. Who knows, perhaps she will mellow with this new found plan. Thank you for considering my quest to obtain the mahogany beauty.

And you've put up with that kind of behaviour for 30 years?!?!? ;)

We'll celebrate 27 this November. I don't think that idea would fly here either.

You know where I'm coming from Larry! You would think they would just give in straight away after all these years but I think they enjoy to see us squirm!

Hey Larry get this. My beloved has just reminded me that 30 years is the pearl anniversary so if I present her with a suitable gift of pearls she will buy me a pearl scratchplate! She's too good for me. I surrender. I'm a beaten man. Therefore, I propose that we men form an association - unity is strength brothers. I propose that it be callled The Association of Scheming Screwballs or ASS for short.

This is a lovely plan and I suggest we fly with it! :D

My darling wife and I celebrate 30 years of marriage this year. I explained to her that MM is also celebrating 30 years of the Stingray with a special edition. I also suggested that it would be appropriate and significant if we merged the two events and ordered a LE Stingray immediately. Can you imagine my shock when she declined my suggestion amidst great laughter. It didn't even cut any ice when I said I would be prepared to wait until my order could be fulfilled. Oh well, dream on!

What's up, Hutton! Good to see you on the forums! Happy 30th Anniversary! Call the guys at S&T, maybe they'll stash one for ya... ;) :D

Way To Go Ya ****s!!!!!!! You Can't Get Basses To Your Customers But "big Popa" Can Get His New Bongo And Brag About It! Who The Hell Are You In Business For Anyway???? Yourself Or The People Who Buy You ****ing Basses???? I Spent 5 Months Waiting For Mine!!!! Now You Want Us All To Wait Another Month And A Half While You Build For Each Other??? Not Anymore!!! The Hell With Musicman!!! Ill Buy A Bass From Someone That Bothers To Send Them To The Stores!!!

WOW...how did I miss this?!?! I am currently having some medical problems that has been keeping me off the boards unlike before. No need to go there.

SodaPops.....First off, if you feel that way....go away. If you really need to take shots....PM me. I don't work for EBMM by any means, but, I will be the first to defend Big Poppa and all who work there. I have done it before, will do it again, and will continue. PM me....I am begging you.

Big Poppa, YOU deserve to get whatever it is you want from YOUR company. NO ONE has a right to complain. I (bovine will vouche for this) know first hand of your generosity to others. Not just in being a manufacturer of strings and instruments either. Your generosity to your family and to your friends in life in general. I wish millions more were like you. It would have kept me from my past career. ;)

To all who are new here and don't know....first, Welcome to the Addiction!

Second, Big Poppa does one thing that has stuck with me since the Open House. He is genuinely concerned about us and our satisfaction with his products. I watched him worry himself to death at the Open House about whether or not it was as much fun as was advertised. I mean, he was seriously worried. He constantly asked me if we were being taken care of (ABSOLUTELY) and if the Open House was all that it was hyped up to be...(MORE SO BIG POPPA THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW) and let me also say, all those who work at EBMM took care of us like family.

So what if he is getting a bongo "one off" for himself. Get over it. He DESERVES it if no one else does.

My LE bongo was ordered months ago.....I am still waiting, just like everyone else. I would rather wait as long as it takes because I know if Big Poppa and the rest of EBMM don't think it meets their approval 100%, who am I to question. Instead, I want to say THANK YOU FOR CARING ABOUT ME! Who am I, just a regular joe and I feel like I am treated like family.

So, again, if someone has problems or want to go off like act like an idiot, PM me first.....no need to cause a problem publicly. That is just bad form. Seriously.

Sorry to all my forum brothers and sisters for my rant......but, I have my reasons and most know how I am.

You okay, Koogs?

I controlled myself in a manner befitting the Elder Moderator, didn't I?

It wasn't easy, either - so a big +1 to what the Koogster says.

Post Concussion Syndrome. Have had it for years....comes and goes. Right now, today is a good day. I have dizzy spells, major headaches and sensitivity to light. So bad, I don't drive if I can help it. I have docs trying to help me out....like I said, good days and bad......past couple of weeks have been horrendous for me. Worse by far. The good part so far, it hasn't kept me from band practice...hehehehe.....gotta love that!

As the Eldest Moderator, you sir, have all my respect as do the others.

You are going to summer NAMM right? I will be there, so we need to grab a few brews and toast our military brothers of the past and future.

BTW, thanks for asking my friend.

Hey Beth - Thanks for the sentiment. S&T may have to stash one away for a while though, but who knows.

It's great to see EBMM being stoutly defended by the forum members. We know it's a great company. They go the extra mile and deserve our loyalty.

BTW, I've had a thought to extend the name of my proposed association to the Association of Scheming Screwballs Hoping to Own Limited EditionS. The problem is it's a bit long and I can't think what an abbreviated version would be!;)

It's ok Koog. The discussion has been a lively one! ;)

Amp kicks ass! Although, I haven't been able to turn it up too loud. I live in a condo. :(
