BP, I'm very proud of all of the work you do for your family, customers but more importantly good causes. I don't understand some of the folks at TB and it appalls me to read what some type. I have read up on what you have done for your son and then starting the foundation. My family will never forget what you did for us last year. (For those that don't know, Sterling Ball made me a custom made breast cancer awareness bass after my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. He, along with Bass Central, then donated 100% of the funds to our Relay for Life team and got many members on here to pledge as well. I think in total, last year we raised right around 7k as a result with a majority of that coming from here.) I then just recently found out about another individual who has been going through cancer that BP donated a bass too.
Now, some of the folks over there will never know about that but that is because BP has done a lot of these things without asking for recognition but instead, has done this out of the goodness of his own heart. As a result, I am a Music Man player for life! Oh one more thing to add too. When BP agreed to make the bass for me last year, it wasn't like I had been a life long EBMM customer. In fact, prior to that, I had never even owned a Music Man bass before. 3 weeks prior to my wifes diagnosis, I traded a guitar to a member on here for a Sterling 4H that I still have and love. BP then made the BCA bass for me but since then I have bought 2 more EBMM Basses. A Bongo 4HH DDII and a BFR Roasted Bongo 4H. With this situation, I wish I had the money to buy one of these basses simply to support the company. One thing is for sure though. As soon as we get medical bills paid off, I plan on giving back to the work that BP has started and plan on donating money myself to the Casey Lee Ball Foundation.
