Oh my gosh...I got to go into the endorsement scene......this will take aot to tact (i hate tact, just like NoRm and his siamese twin kbaim) I don't want to talk about anyone elses finances or deals as that is their business, not ours. Even if it wasn't many of the endorsed artists that don't play EBMM, endorse our strings and accessories.
So there are many levels of product endorsement. It depends on your stature and infleunce. The deals on endorsements for our company start with a limited amount of purchasing direct at a good price to full blown tons of free stuff. We don't pay anybody to play our strings or instruments. If we offer a signature instrument, that artist participates in the revenue. It is not a compelling amount, but is only fair If we are directly using the artists design input along with his/her name and likeness. You guys are pretty sharp so you can probably work backwards and figure that the cash is not a big factor in the retail prices of the instrument.
If a Mjsic man artist uses one of our instruments in a video, they get another one of their choice for free. This is just good business.

In setting up an effective and fair artist relations program it has to be able to handle the artist on the rise ath their peak, and when their star has faded somewhat.
