My `94 Trans Teal Rocks like none other. It was a total tear down, rebuff the bod, Oil soap, sand clean ,oil and wax the neck the neck change out the first 5 frets, rewire the EMGs, Clean the saddles, intonate a Floyd

I've yet to do a side by side with the natural and anything.

Do check out the triple humbucker that I am playing on page 1 of this thread.

I love these guitars
I bought another SiLO today
This is one of the few times I have played an EBMM before I decided to buy it.
An 11 year old NOS.

When I bought this guitar it had unknown and cheap pickups. I put Seymour Duncans in it, adjusted it well and cleaned it.

Wow I'm not a top guy, but that is without a doubt one of the suckiest tops I've ever seen. Lucky you, congrats!!!!

Thanks Glenn! I've owned a lot of guitars, incl 2xSilo Special and 1xLuke1, 3 Luke2 and 1 Luke3. But this one is so good!

Some nice touches on there, the recessed neck plate and you've got solid saddles on there, that's the way to go!!!

That's awesome! Very rewarding and satisfying when they come to life. That guitfiddle is a beaut!

That early one with the 3 hums is freaking awesome. Look great outfitted with black hardware!

Would love to see the NOS!!!! Your collection just keeps on inspiring:)

That's awesome Norm! Another rare one in the mix:)

Great to know the family supports the passion. Makes it that much easier when finalizing the deal. Def upload a pic of that bad boy, whenever you figure out the issue... Can't wait!!!!

My Two

Silo Special SSS and Silo HSH with matching headstock. Both hardtails. Ignore the guitar to the left--the Silo SSS plays rings around it...

Different strokes. The SSS is very Strat-like but the HSH does a few different things. I do like the HB in the neck and the middle pup really sparkles. I prefer a single coil in the bridge. I'd actually like an HSS but pretty sure those don't exist in a stock Silo.

You could make a loaded pick guard and swap it out to get the HSS.
