Glenn I remember when you first started listing your 20th and I totally agree with what beej said 100% A $500 re-fin is basically for someone who bought a great playing and sounding guitar like a Strat or Partsacster that someone tried to Relic that just looks horrible and is going to be steadily gigging and playing the guitar out. If you honestly don't love or play the guitar heavily a re-fin is just going to be throwing away another $500, as well as destroying the value of the guitar. If you are not jammed up financially and have to sell (which is not mine or anyone else's business) then just put it away and bring it out and put it up for sale every three months and then pull it for a month. It is a total buyers market the last five years and the smart guys scooping up all the gems know to be patient as they have nothing but time on their hands. They can also sense when someone is desperate as I have seen guitars originally priced used drop $500- $800 in a week. Look at all the vintage dealers who are stuck for ten's and hundreds of thousands on gear because they thought everything would turn around fast. I remember reading in Premier Guitar magazine when the vintage market first dived one dealer stating how his friend turned down $350,000 for an original Burst and a year later had to sell it and the best offer he got was $160,000=Ouch! Not blowing smoke here but EBMM is considered a top shelf high quality guitar and if I were you I would put in my add open to Trades and list a guitar of equal value that you would like. The pluses you have on your side is the guitar is an LE- 1 of 13 built with a Piezo- and appears to be mint. The con is that not that many were made so a lot of guys even EBMM lover really may not know what to expect. You are on The GP and how many threads do you see on why in the last decade has PRS guitars have a horrible re-sale value. That Emporium is full of ten tops being sold for half of what they were bought for. Also (since I never owned one) I was curious to the answers given and #1 is the market is flooded with them. That is one problem you don't have with your 20th. Also spice up your next add with a link to the review for the 20th from GuitarWorld magazines website which is stellar and describes everything about the guitar better then you could. You have to go to the site and punch in EBMM 20th anniversary Silo and it will appear. Anytime Keith Richards throws praise on a guitar you draw in the vintage crowd. Hope this helped and good luck!
On a side note- Jeff if you put up any gear in your yard sales send me a PM lol.
