But the worst song ever is The Macarena. It even came with its own stupid dance. Going to sporting events in the late 90's here in SoCal when that song was popular was painful and difficult.
Anything by Poison. Remember Un-Skinny Bop? Then there's this gem:
"Every rose, has it's thorn
My ex-wife's still in porn..."
Actually, anything from the "Ode to the Road" genre, where it's tough and lonely to be on tour: Poison (Every Rose), Bob Seger (Turn the Page), Bon Jovi (Dead or Alive), Jackson Browne (Stay a Little Bit Longer), Journey (Faithfully), etc. Even if the song is okay (I had to learn all of Dead or Alive), the whole whiny concept grates on me.
"Faithfully" by Journey is true crossover, it's a loser in more categories than just Ode to the Road.
That, Do You Have To Let it Linger, song by the Cranberries.... terrible. The only thing lingering is my contempt for that song and the way she pronounces "Linger" ... like.... leengurr. It's all bad.
