On Thursday, a certain rather well-known bassist (well-known but WAY underpaid) will be receiving quite a little surprise from a few of his buddies.

In the spirit of what we did here for Azzy and Trevor, we pitched in and bought him an inexpensive but still purdy cool bass for his upcoming shows with a certain ass-kicking band named after a certain animal.

More than this I cannot say, but those who took part are certainly covered on the karma concept!

I finally got around (read, got paid) to doing my little part in this. Extremely worthy cause.

and happy birthday for Friday too Chuck - and no - we don't need to see any more pictures of you in your birthday suit !!!

I'm in.
I'll be training a group of hapless people on the intricacies of UK Personal taxation between 17:00 and 22:00 GMT.

I'll announce that if they can get "their hard sums right" I'll let them off early because of this momentous event.

(I can see it now - whispers down the corridoor "yeah I understood all that stuff about tax carry back - but who the hell is Chuck?)

I'm down...my best bud's bday is this friday too!

and on that note Drew.....

our local Rock radio stn. just reminded listeners that this Friday's date is 4/20, in Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and BC in general 4:20 has quite the significance so this is all panning out to be quite the potential for a cosmic happening on Chuck's 50th!!!!

:p :p :D :D
