Question Steve morse tone..?

Watching this concert

I noticed Steve's tone is a little different than usual during solos (for example at 10:26); is he using some kind of harmonizer here or are my ears cheating?

i guess it´s the digitech whammy as mentioned by tommy in the other thread

[...] the dig tech whammy is used on 2 songs to provide a minor 3rd parallel harmony for a couple solos. and as an octave below on 2 other solos. it is switched by me during the shows.
