Hey Ritchie, check with tommyindelaware. He had a few people that he couldn't track down. I'd have missed out myself had I not stepped out into the hallway and run into him at just the right time.

They're very cool, hope you can get a hold of yours.

I'm going to post my thanks in this thread so that the number of 'thank you' threads doesn't get too outlandish. (Although I'm sure that every attendee of the Dallas bash would like to create their own thread to say thanks.)

First, thanks to Jack and Erika for coming up with the original crazy idea of throwing a b-day party in a hotel and inviting Jack's 'imaginary' friends. I hope you both had a wonderful time.

Next, thanks to Big Poppa for putting his time, effort and vast amounts of cash into making it happen.

Thanks to Biff Baby's All Stars for not only playing, but being cool enough to hang out with a bunch of Knuckleheads for the weekend. Man, that Tony Spinner really holds his own up on that stage with you other musical giants! (I've left plenty of opportunity in that last sentence for Lucious to add some commentary. :D)

Marty Albertson and the guys from GC were really great.. and Ed Ocean is a VERY funny guy!

Cowpilot did a great job entertaining us for a little while on both nights.

Thanks to Oldtoe for organizing the gift for Jack and Erika from several forumites and some of Jack & Erika's 'offline' friends.

Tommyindelaware saved the day by shuttling many Harvey folks to Grapevine on Friday night, and GWDavis did this as well. And thanks again to Tommy for the keychains!

Thanks to DaveB for hooking me up with some swag and letting me check out his lava pearl Petrucci.

Thanks to Doug (Sigmunds Couch) & Amy for the Blue Angels stuff and the great company.

It was great to hang with so many of you again, and to meet others for the first time. My buddies really thought the world of all you folks and they had a great time as well.

Some memorable playing that I witnessed this weekend (aside from the All Stars and forumites who played at SLO last year):

Derek -- really tasteful blues jams, brother. Great feel and phrasing!
Ed Friedland -- brought kbaim's tune to new life quite spontaneously.
Tyler the WonderKid - wow!
DaveB -- I heard you noodling on those guitars in the Master Class! Awesome!

Man, its going to take some time to digest everything..

congrats to Ray on winning the DD Silo, how's NorM coping?

He's recently become affianced to the lovely Marie and so has a big distraction from misery.

NorM--thanks for inviting her along again (she must have really enjoyed SLO last year!). The wedding will be in January, right? Hey.. is the honeymoon at NAMM?? That would be so cool!!:D

Apparently, some folks got one with someone else's name on it by mistake on Friday night. Since he didn't catch up with everyone, he also had about a dozen left unclaimed by Sunday. PM Tommy to make a swap or get yours.

BP,

Without you and the staff at EBMM, Dall-as would not have happened. Thanks for making it such a great time for everyone who went and for sympathizing with those who didn't get to for the many reasons given or withheld.

Thanks to Jack & Erika for all the coordination and behind the scenes hard work on this shindig.

It was great fun chatting with the other Knuckleheads and their sigs as well, no matter where they were staying.

The pictures are worth their weight in balls. :D

I had a blast at SLO, a blast in Dall-as and look forward to the next one. Did you say UK? I'm up for it!

3. Wendy's
4. Compass Bank
5. Strip clubs
6. Exotic dancers

Glenn and I are your contacts for this information. :D

Red Knucklehead Tags

Those of you who made it to to the now infamous Dallas Birthday Bash last November might remember the swag addition that TommyinDelaware contributed for the attending forumites. The list of names he got might not have been complete at the time of making them up. They were the red key tags that were engraved with "Ernie Ball" on one side and "Knucklehead" on the other side. Some of you might even have been able to read the name that was engraved under 'Knucklehead'. If it was your name, great! He tried to give them out in person, but some folks didn't get theirs or somehow ended up with someone else's. Thom did make a couple of duplicates, BTW. These are the ones we have on hand:

francric
lamerjay
Tristan
Chuck Sturgeon
David Harris
bassmonkey (Brian W.)
MondoKen
kdsi44
leftymike
dkassenbrock
Sigmunds Couch
dwf1004

Please let us know if you want yours.

I didn't get mine and don't see my name on the list. Actually, I didn't know they existed until the last day in Dallas. Someone out there must have mine.
