You guys should probably see speed increases as Amazon has more bandwidth than our old T1 could ever dream of.
DNS was updated about 1.5 hours ago to point Ernie Ball | Home to it's new home and IP Address.
DNS usually takes less than 2 hours to propagate, but can take up to 24 hours.
The forum on the old server is turned off so you'll be able to tell if your DNS is resolving to the new or old server. Of course not only doesn't this post not exist on the old server, you wouldn't even be able to read this post on the old server so I guess the point is moot...
music-man.com was moved to Amazon last weekend after the motherboard on the old server died and took out both sites.
It took a little bit longer to move the ernieball.com site over since the entire site contains 30+ gigs of data and T1 is not fast, but we finally got it moved over.
We started testing the moved eb site yesterday and think we got any bugs/issues a move can cause ironed out. If you notice anything odd feel free to reply to this thread.
