its good to hear a legend like craig saying what a lot of people think already. There are ways of making music other than on a very expensive vintage and frankly v basic instrument - some people would have you think this is not humanly possible. My experience is they are often not even bass players and almost always a**holes . I dont understand the rest of the thread but is it possible we put newbies off by a little over enthusiasm? Anyway i just play em and love em - ebmm basses that is - no deity stuff im afraid lol!

We are baby tiny steve jobs starter kits. But I am a huge apple fan.

I play my EBMM through my iPhone and iPad using iRig. Count me as a double-fanboi.

Seriously, I wrote a bunch of patents for Apple back in the day for what would become Firewire technology found in the original iPods etc. Got to spend some time at the "mothership" in Cupertino. Looked like a cool environment to work in, it was no surprise that innovative products were coming out.

Judging from what I see on this board, EBMM looks like a cool place to innovate as well. And cool products are indeed coming out of the mothership in SLO.

Coincidence????

I have been a long time, and happy owner of AAPL for many years. Have sold from time to time, but mostly a buy and holder. If I could buy stock in EBMM, I'd be all over it.:D

This thread took a few strange turns, didn't it?

But the priginal post by C Young, who I just found out is playing on the lady antebellum album I'm currently enjoying, likes ebmm so much he sold all his other basses. I could easily do the same, though most of my non-ebmm basses are quite frankly unsellable;-)

This fanboi crap is just from sad morons with asshat attitudes, nothing to be concerned with.

Couldn't agree with all of ya'll more. I've spent years playing, touring, recording, and in that time I've had the pleasure of playing some amazing instruments. With that being said, it took me quite a while to move out of my "zone" and finally pickup a EBMM bass. Needless to say, I haven't looked back, and only continue to look forward to all the cool and innovative ideas coming out of SLO. I play EBMM because I love everything about the basses. The sound, the feel, the necks, the response, the customer service... everything! They may not be for everyone, but then again, neither is great tone! ;-)
