Hi - welcome to the forum and great looking bass. Another UK bass player joins the knucklehead ranks.

If I knew how many people would have watched those videos I may have prepared. The GC guys showed up for a meeting and said "Do you mind if we make a video this morning?" Sure.....next time I will practice my chops if there are any left.

HEy GD nice set up you got there. As a fellow Ashdown user (and a member of living on the margins of the UK - Norfolk here) don't ditch the Ashdown. She maybe putting on weight but she will never let you down. Yours looks almost as old as mine.

Enjoy the forum....

Hey Rob, I spent much time and some money (! :) ) in your shop. I found my drummer and singer from your noticeboard when I lived in Suffolk (in Woolpit). We weren't very famous but had a load of fun, played in Bury, obscure bits of Suffolk and once or twice in Norfolk. Colchester Free Festival was the DB's though, on the jam stage. Recorded some tracks at Purple in Norwich and the rest in Ipswich. Great times, I'll pop in next time I'm up there visiting my old drummer.

Cheers

...at least you had a clean shirt on :D

They do have a certain charm nonetheless :)

You could record them again and do it "properly", but then I think you'd lose the natural spontaneity and the live feel.

just imho of course

Sweet sounds like how we play at the moment - normally in the boonies. It not actually my shop it belongs to my drummer (Nick Duncan). He has just become an EBMM dealer. We have managed to have a few little exclusives over the likes of Acadamy of Sound locally.
LEt me know when yo are coming by - lunchtime beer in Norwich is always welcome, in fact I work just round the corner from the Plug studios.

I saw the pics of Jacks 20th 5H and just couldn't believe it - I have to get one of those while I'm on this planet. More worryingly I think I may be turning Bongoloid, so I'll need one of those too

You're my new best friend.
